Recycled UK Limited

Recycled UK Limited

The End of Life Vehicles Directive sets the target for the reuse and recovery of materials at 85%, rising to 95% by 2015. Recycled UK Limited is a West Midlands based company capable of recycling plastic car bumpers at its site in Wolverhampton. Metal and paint are removed allowing the plastic to be reused to manufacture new products such as wheelie bins. NISP worked with the company and the Environment Agency to ensure they met waste carrier and hazardous waste regulation criteria, allowing the company to commence operations within a few months of formation. NISP continues to work with the company identifying new sources of waste plastic for their business.
