Crown copyright
Crown copyright covers information and works created by civil servants, ministers and government departments and agencies. The Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office has been appointed by Her Majesty the Queen to manage all copyrights owned by the Crown on Her Majesty's behalf and operates from within The National Archives.
Parliamentary copyright
Parliamentary copyright covers information and works made by or under the direction or control of the House of Commons or the House of Lords. The administration of Parliamentary copyright material is undertaken by The National Archives under the terms of an agreement with Parliament.
