Email Subscription Service

Choose one or more HPA publications that are of interest to you. You will receive a brief message when the latest issue of the publication is published on the HPA website. Notification messages contain a short summary with a link to the full publication.

Note: The HPR weekly notification is also available with an optional PDF file attachment. The PDF attachment contains the full Health Protection Report and is printable on standard A4 size paper, making it easy to disseminate to colleagues as hard copy or via email.

Health Protection Report
The Health Protection Report (HPR) is the national public health bulletin for England and Wales. Published every Friday, it is comprised of two strands: a weekly digest of communicable disease and public health related news and Infection reports, which include routine microbiological and detailed epidemiological data/infection reports.

Weekly National Influenza Report
The Weekly National Influenza Report provides a timely summary, along with comments and interpretation, of clinical and virological indicators of influenza activity in the United Kingdom. Reports are published every Wednesday throughout the influenza season (October to May), with the frequency of reports increasing with influenza activity.

NOIDs Weekly Report
The Notifications of Infectious Diseases Weekly Report (NOIDs Weekly Report) provides a summary of suspected cases of certain infectious diseases in England and Wales. These include food poisoning, tuberculosis, meningitis and scarlet fever. The report is published every Thursday.
