"It is impossible to imagine a prettier spot" - such were the words of Queen Victoria after her first visit to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. Indeed no trip to the island would be complete without a visit to this royal seaside palace where Queen Victoria lived with her beloved Prince Albert and their nine children.

Osborne House offers a glimpse into the private life of the royal family and is filled with original furnishings and priceless artworks.  The grounds immediately surrounding the house are a joy to explore with stunning views of the Solent.

During the winter months, the house is open for pre-booked hour-long guided tours. Enjoy a selection of rooms on the ground floor at a quieter time of year in the company of an expert guide, at no extra charge.
